Region: Finger Lakes

Searching for a relaxing and beautiful place to indulge in amazing New York wine and food? Look no further than the Finger Lakes, known as the “Napa Valley of the East Coast.” With nearly 100 wineries, an array of fine dining options, and active local farms, your visit to the Finger Lakes is sure to be delicious.

To work up an appetite, do some NY hiking, biking, golfing, or horseback riding – or, in the winter months, hit the slopes for skiing and snowshoeing. You’ll definitely want to take advantage of the regions’ eleven gorgeous lakes, with swimming and other water sports.

The Finger Lakes region is rich in history and culture - try the Corning Museum of Glass in Steuben County or the Everson Museum of Art in Syracuse - and is dotted with craft and art studios. Also consider visiting Ithaca (home to the beautiful Cornell University campus) or Rochester (New York’s third largest city).
